ALPHACOOL EISBAER AURORA 240 LIQUID REFRIGERATION
Alphacool is revolutionizing the AIO cooler market with Eisbaer. If classic AIO CPU coolers are products that cannot be expanded or filled, the Alphacool Eisbaer has a modular structure and can be expanded , converted or filled at any time. This means that the Eisbaer is not just an AIO, but is entirely based on classic water-cooling components. That means it is quieter and more powerful than the average AIO solution.
Alphacool uses a full copper radiator. The base of the radiator is the popular Alphacool NexXxoS series. Pure copper construction greatly increases cooling performance compared to standard aluminum radiators in classic AIOs. The low fin density ensures enormous cooling capacity for low speed fans. This reduces the performance of the Eisbaer when the fans are shutting down much more slowly than with radiators with a high fin density.
Flexible PVC hoses make it easy to install the Eisbaer. This makes it easier to position the hoses in the correct position. To prevent kinking and stop the flow of water, there are kink protection springs on both hoses. The 11/8 mm size also comes from the normal water cooling area and is a common size along with 10/13 and 10/16.
In cooperation with BeQuiet! Eisbaer uses the Pure Wings 2 fan to blow cold air between the cooling fins. Both fans run through a 3-pin connection. An Eis adapter is included with the Eisbaer , so both fans can be controlled via a connection on their motherboard or a separate fan control.
All connections are based on the classic G1 / 4 inch thread, the standard thread in the water cooling area. Therefore, all connections can be exchanged for others at any time if you wish. This also means that you can then use thicker hoses or even hard tubes to make your system more individual.
The base of the pump is Alphacool DC-LT Ceramic Ultra Low Noise which is also available separately. The pump works extremely quietly and can be regulated from 7 to 12V . Regulation via the motherboard is also possible. If you operate the Eisbaer alone, you will hardly have a loss of power at 7V, as various test results can attest. The insulated pump casing continues to refine the noise level and also ensures that vibrations are almost completely absorbed.
